Q. What levels of Indoor Cycling do you offer?
All levels! Each session is high on intensity and low on intimidation, designed to boost fitness and wellbeing as well as foster a sense of community. Our friendly, inspirational instructors will ensure you remain engaged for the duration of your ride! No prerequisites required – you don’t even have to know how to ride a bike!
Q. What should i wear
Form fitting athletic wear, preferably moisture-wicking fabrics. The studio is kept at a cool temperature to allow sufficient ventilation and fans are employed during the ride. A light easy-to-remove layer once warmed up is recommended.
If you have padded cycling shorts, we recommend wearing them. Gel seats are also available free of charge.
While athletic shoes are welcome, we highly encouraged using cycling shoes (SPD) as this will provide a safer, more efficient ride. We offer cycling shoe rental in sizes women’s 5 up to men’s 12 for $5 ($3 for members).
For advanced riders who own their own shoes, we have two bikes that accommodate Look Delta cleats (red or black plastic triangular cleats); please notify the front desk staff if you require one of these bikes.
Q. What else should I bring?
A cycling water bottle is ideal (we have a filtered filling station). Why a cycling bottle? It saves time and energy when sneaking little sips throughout your ride instead of unscrewing a bottle cap (and potentially dropping it!). We sell a selection of water if you forget your own bottle.
We provide workout towels for our guests as well as chilled post-workout spa towels to freshen up after class.
Q. Do you have showers?
Our studio is not equipped with full gym facilities. We offer changing rooms and provide cubbies in our lobby (always carefully guarded) but we do not provided lockers. Due to our intimate studio size, we cannot accommodate or secure large gym bags and we ask that you do not bring valuables (we do have a mobile phone charging station).
Q. Do you have parking?
Parking is on-street only and we highly encourage our guests to be cognizant of parking regulations in the neighborhood. Please allow yourself plenty of time to secure parking before class start time.
Q. Do you offer anything else besides cycling?
Cycling is our specialty and while some classes (Ride + Build, Triple-A) do incorporate free weights and resistance band training, most of our class offerings are currently centered around Indoor Cycling. To provide our clients with balanced strength and cardivascular fitness programming, we offer in-person, small group 45-minute classes at Ratio Annex twice a week. The classes incorporate full body circuit workouts that build strength, improve conditioning and increase range of motion. We focus on proper form, while keeping heart rate up for the duration of the class. Be prepared to be sore the next day or two, while burning fat and building lean muscle.
Additionally, Ratio Cycling has partnered with Precision Nutrition, one of the most respected nutrition companies in the world. Our Elite Membership includes PN Coach, an online platform that delivers daily strength-based workout recommendations along with nutrition and lifestyle curriculum. The workouts plans are designed to meet individual client needs and offer flexibility to do at home, at the gym or substitute for an indoor cycling class. The clients will be working with a certified Precision Nutrition coach and use the online platform to access content, track progress and stay accountable. The workout module of the PN ProCoach integrates with the optional nutrition coaching program to deliver a comprehensive fitness solution.
Q. Do you offer the first class for free?
Your first class is only $10 and, for a limited time, you are able to apply that fee toward a full introductory month of classes for an additional $59. Or sign up for your first month at $69 today!
Q. What are your Studio Policies?
Two-hour Cancellation Policy:
Class reservations must be canceled a minimum of two hours before start time to avoid forfeiting credit or incurring a $10 Late Cancellation fee (for unlimited access members only).
Late Entry Policy: Out of consideration for your fellow participants, there will be no late entry after five minutes past class start time. If you are running late, please call our studio assistants or send an email to email@example.com.
Brand New to Indoor Cycling?:
For your safety, it is imperative that you arrive 15-minutes prior to class start time to get acquainted with our equipment and to ensure proper fit.
This purchase of a single class is valid for 10 days from the purchase date. Your $10 purchase is eligible to be applied toward a month of Unlimited Access for only and additional $59. This offer valid for 72 hours after the first class. All class packs carry a three-month expiration from the date of purchase.
